Chapter 13 - First date
Avery POV
I put my alarm for eight in the morning today. Today is the day I am going on a date with Matteo. I still think I am out of my goddamn mind for agreeing to go on a date with him. But hell, now its done and there is no turning back. I get out of bed after a shit night sleep and I walk into the kitchen before my alarm has even made noise. Its only seven thirty and I am in the kitchen making coffee. After the pot is ready I grab one of my coffee cups and I walk to the small living room turning the tv on. I sit on the edge of the couch as I watch the news.
My phone pings and I walk into my tiny bedroom to grab it and it’s a message from Matteo. “Looking foreword to see you today beautiful”, that’s all it said and I can’t help but smile like an idiot looking at those simple words on may screen. Hello everyone. I would like to apologise for being away. My toddler was very sick last week, and we even thought she had covid because of all her symptoms.
