Chapter 60 - Baby Jane part 2
Avery POV
Present Day
“How does that make you feel?”, Suzanne asks me while I take a deep breath and I play with my wedding ring. I look up at her and shrug my shoulders. I know she is my therapist and she is paid to help me but today I can’t talk to her, my anxiety is creeping in and I know I should tell her about it but I just can’t.
I have been trying to tell Matteo about Jane and every time I start the conversation he changes the subject. I know he is not doing it to spite me, because he doesn’t even know about her, and deep down I know I haven’t tried hard enough to tell him ion fear he will say no.
Once my hour in the therapy session is done I walk to the waiting room where Eliana is waiting for me, she has been feeling sick today and she looks terrible, she looks like she hasn’t slept one little bit and I have to say I am worried about her.
