Chapter 76

The dragon rides were a huge hit, and the afternoon presentation went much smoother than the morning one did. We had fun with the community until well into the evening. We were all approached by many members of the community several times, throughout the day, with questions for us. We all answered as honestly as possible, and we got to get to know all our neighbors.

When the carnival was over, we all went back to our house. We checked on the wolf family, and they jumped on us as they greeted us with enthusiasm. Saige said, “They are saying that they’re happy to see you.” We went in the house, and I brought out some steaks for them. I said, “You guys enjoy those. You deserve them.”
