Chapter 2a

A thousand year later, the second leading Alpha still in his prime. But he is keep away from the eye of everyone. Gossip there, gossip here resulted the undying worry and suspicious. 

“This is unheard of!” a woman said exclaimed, facing the highest mountain that cover with snow. Her lips trembled as she rolled her eyes. “Something suspicious's happening in the palace, I see.”

A gentle wind embrace her, stop the trembling of her lip that suddenly warmth by its embrace. Strangely, her face said otherwise to the worry that can be felt in her voice. And now evidently shown in her face the scorn to the mountain.

Her lips pouted. “It does nothing to do with me,” she softly whisper and sigh, as if that very truth hindered her purpose. “Don't you think it was my fault that they are so highly with themselves? They can do anything to solve their problem in the palace if there was!”

“You sound as if you trying to tell me you don't want to enter their so called safest haven?” A whisper of the wind shivered her. 

Her eyes widened when she felt she being interrogated for the crime that she is guilty about. “You dare thinking that was the case!” She gasped, certain for her guesse. “You... You thought so-like them just now!”

She cry out loud, broke the silence of the night. And the wind can only cover the place to hinder such a thunderous voice to come out to open.

“I knew it...” She look down, looking so betrayed. “I thought it strange how you feel excited when I was dispatch to uncover something bizzare in this place! You disappoint me...”

“Oh, stop it,” the voice sounds as if this very situation is not at all a first time to ever happen. “You suck at acting, don't you know that?”

As if it's a spell of warning, the woman stop with a widened eyes. “You!”

“Well, you have been suck the very first time I'm meet you-”

“Don't you dare trying to uttered something bizzare!”

If one stumble upon this scene, they will notice how it's so strange...

The woman named Bright looking as if she is with someone, which is a hair-rising sensation for this part of the mountain that only believe of the order of the world and its naturalities. Because this woman surely looking as if she is with someone, which is out of this world's order!

In this mountain that ruled by the Alpha, they believe only for one thing, and that is their knowledge of the world is the only thing that matter. They are highly, destined to ruled the world, give mercy to those who wanted to be free from their regime. So it's only natural that they became the single-type nation that only for Shifters, unlike the other mountain that compromise by any type and was diverse.

They weren't just called shifters in their own territory, but are highly and enormous being to be praise about as the term for the freedom that they bestowed to the other mountain. For what reason this order has to exist, only the Alphas of the old has the answer. 

And this kind of woman that foreign in this area may seen as a threat for their stability. Chuckled as if she is having delussions and unstable mindset. But is she?

“Let's be serious, shall we?”

Bright felt as if the playtime moment is over. She nodded but her face says otherwise. “So you think something is going on?”

“The palace is a holy place,” the replied that rolled her eyes. “How possible it is to be in a situation that may danger the world? I think you're right...”

“Of course, I'm always right!” She confidently look back to the top of the mountain, smile broke out with wickedness. “My fellow Priestess never learn their lesson, dispatching my noble sisters in this bizzare place. If not for the reason that it is so dangerous for them, don't you think I'll agree for this nonsense?”

“Nonsense,” it chuckled this time, the unseen companion that this woman have ever have. “That's the term for your kind.”

The woman can only shut her mouth, not able to guess the expression this unseen companion she have the first time she learn the order of this world. The feeling of something is amass with everything strengthen by the strange premonition this companion of her layed about.

She chuckled with it as she can only put a puzzle expression in her face.

Whatever reason that she feel in her heart, a suspicious and worry that surpass everyone, she can only wish that she once again fretting for something that unrelated to this world. 

Before she turn and disappear with the embrace of the wind, she look up, whisper in a heavy breathing, “I hope it was nothing. The event of a thousand years ago has nothing to do with the silence in the palace...”
