After we're both back at the suite, we decide to sit on the couch in the living room and talk about the ceremonies. Apparently, the mating ceremony was basically like a human wedding. We say vows to each other, and instead of exchanging rings, we mark each other, but we've already done that, so we'll be exchanging rings in their place and then reveal our marks to everyone. After Rain announced that she would be stepping up to take the trial challenge that'll determine her candidacy for the throne of the Witch Queen, I linked Sam to send a list of the remaining coven leaders that will be invited to our ceremonies on Rains' behalf to the organizers. And they informed me that they would get the invitations sent out before the end of the day and have them hand-delivered. Rains' P.O.V. While practicing my magic with my mom and Jess, Sam comes rushing in, saying there has been an attack and that we should get to the suite immediately. We don't argue with him as we get up and head for the castle with Sam in front of us and the guards following behind us. "Where is the attack at? Was it on the coven witches?" I ask Sam. "It's at the border of the Kingdom territory, the witches and our warriors are holding their own, and the King and more warriors are on their way there as we speak." Rains' P.O.V. After getting to the hospital, I'm led to a large exam room where the eleven injured warriors are on hospital beds. Then seeing me enter the room, the doctor walks up to me, bows, and greets me with a smile. "Who needs healing first, Doctor?" I ask him, and he points out the warriors with the worst injuries. I turn to my mother and ask if she has any healers that can help. She nods before leaving to find where the witches from the coven had been asked to stay until everything was over. A few minutes later, she returns with a young lady about twenty years old with long brown hair, brown eyes, and caramel skin. She introduces her as Lady Nina. "It's nice to meet you, Lady Nina. Could you assist my mother and me in healing our warriors?" I ask her. "Of course, my Queen." She answers with a smile. "Thank you. The doctor here will show you which ones need healing first." "Go on back to the suite. Getting the witches settled in will take a while." Zion tells me, and I shake my head. "No way, I'm coming with you. These witches are my people too. After we left the cliff, I helped Rain back into the Jeep, and we made our way back to the castle. When we arrived, I turned to look at Rain and realized she was asleep. I then linked Orian to check on Odett and see if she could stay with them for the rest of the night. He told me that Jessica and Odett were already asleep, so it was okay for her to stay. I got out and walked around the Jeep to get Rain out, and she looked so peaceful that I didn't want to wake her up, so I carried her back to our suite. After about an hour of walking around the orphanage, we talk with Ms.Blanch about everything and anything she may need for her staff, the orphanage, and the kids. We call for Odett, who ran off to play with a few kids on the playground.
