Gem's Hell
Gem woke slowly, she knew she was in a car, and wondered why they were driving again. The last thing she remembered was Hunter shoving the door open and… nothing. Shit, had she been hit in the head? She tried to lift her hand so she could feel her head. And found she couldn’t. Her hands were tied behind her back. She tugged at them and was surprised at how strong the bonds were. “What the hell?”
“Oh, you’re awake.” A strange voice said from the front seat. The music that had been playing died and silence filled the car. “I was hoping you would stay asleep until we reach our destination. But this is okay too.”

The first thing Mya saw when she walked into the conference room was Hunter. The vampire was pacing the length of the room, her hands buried deep in her pockets and her head down. Amber could see something was bugging Sam as she walked back into the conference room. She stood and met her at the coffee table.“What’s wrong?” She asked quietly. Gem tasted blood as she bit down on her tongue and the inside of her cheek. The coppery taste of her own blood made her want to throw up but she refused to scream. She would not give this woman the satisfaction! She was sitting in a wooden kitchen chair, her hands tied behind her back and her legs tied to the legs of the chair. Blood dripped from her arms onto the floor where the woman sliced at her forearms and biceps. Drops of blood dripped onto her cheeks from the strands of hair that were plastered to her forehead. She wasn’t sure where those came from. Pain radiated through her whole body, and she’d lost count of the places that the woman had cut or burned. She moved so fast that Gem’s vampire body hardly had time to heal in between the rounds of torture. On top of that, she’d not fed in too long and her body was weaker than she’d have liked. Sam sat on the steps of the back porch, watching the rain fall quietly. They’d been home for over an hour and Addi still wasn’t home. Amber told her not to worry, but she always would. Addi was her life. Amber and Addi were her whole world. She listened for a moment and heard the soft breathing behind her. She smiled and turned her head to look up at Amber. Tilting her head, she patted the spot next to her. Amber smiled too and walked over to sit down next to her.“You’re still worried,” Amber said. She laid her head on Sam’s shoulder. “She’s going to be okay.”“How can you be so sure?” Sam asked and laid her hand on Amber’s thigh.“Because, she has pieces of me, and pieces of you. Paine was panting as she stood in her small kitchen. Her whole body felt like it was on fire and her mind raced as she watched the blood pool and run in the cracks of the small kitchen. She had lost it. She’d lost it and now what was she going to do? That moment of intense pleasure she’d felt when her hand had punched into the body and she’d felt the heart in her hands, felt the heartbeat, beat, beat, and then, slow and then stop, as she squeezed it. Tris walked slowly back to the cabin she was staying in while she stayed in Silver Moon. She’d dropped the kids off safely and now she could clear her mind and just take in the quiet. She had to call her mom and check in on the business. But for now, for this small amount of time, she was going to just breathe. She looked up when a twig snapped not far off on her left side. She stopped and listened. An animal? Another wolf? She sniffed the air but didn’t scent danger, so she kept walking. Naked still, but not worried, she’d never been a shy wolf, and honestly being a shy wolf must be a pain in the ass. Shifting destroyed their clothes, unless they got naked first, and if they had to shift back to human form, there wasn’t always a change of clothes lying around.
