After listening to what Zoe Hills had to say, Eric Ferguson was speechless for a brief period of time, and it took him some time to process what she had said to him. 

He simply put on a happy face and pretended not to notice what was going on around him while doing so. 

"You, Miss, really need to stop making jokes about how serious this situation is. How is it even remotely possible for me to become the heir to such a wealthy family when I don't even have a single penny to my name and I don't even have any assets whatsoever? I don't like kinky jokes"

Eric made his statement firmly and without batting an eyelid.

 "I'm sure you know that people refer to me as a man without dignity, but I still have common sense, and I won't allow you to take Advantage of me moving forward," Eric said. 

“Sorry, but I won't put up with you trying to take advantage of me in any way.”

Zoe Hills is certain that even if she had spoken up, he would not have been able to comprehend the genuine nature of her reasons for doing what she did even if she had explained them to him. 

When Zoe Hills took the receiver of her phone in her hand and dialed a number that had not been brought up in conversation, she did not utter a single word to anyone else in the immediate area. 

"Hello,Zoe Hills here.However, even though the mission was accomplished with flying colors and the young master was located, he shows no interest in listening to what it is that we have to say. He gives what I have to say no consideration, and he has no interest in coming with me.I implore you to make the effort that is required to explain things to him. Please do it!" 

Following the completion of that statement, Zoe Hills abruptly terminated the call while also providing Eric with a reassuring smile at the same time. 

As he stared at the woman in front of him, Eric gave off an impression of being confused and unsure. This expression could be seen on his face. 

He intended to talk to her about pulling over to the shoulder of the road so that he could exit the vehicle, and he intended to do so in order to exit the vehicle. 

On the other hand, before he even had a chance to utter a single word, the ringer on his phone started making noise.

The notification bar drew his attention to the fact that he had an incoming message and informed him that it was waiting for him to read it. Additionally, it was loud enough to draw his attention.

The sheer number of messages that Eric received in a single day stunned  and took him by surprise. He was unprepared to take in all of the information at once. 

In addition, who else besides Nicole Shawn would think to send him a message besides her? Who else, besides her, would even consider doing so? 

When Zoe interrupted him and said, "Go ahead and respond to your messages and don't keep your customers waiting," 

he was about to disregard it. If Zoe had not spoken at that time he had been planning to disregard it in the first place .

Could you please elaborate on what she means by that statement and let me know your thoughts? When you take into account the fact that he does not even have a job, it appears as though the customers miraculously appeared out of nowhere; where did they come from? 

Eric took the phone into his hands hesitantly and cast a cursory glance at the notification bar before reluctantly placing it back on the table.

When he checked his inbox, he discovered a message letting him know that one hundred million dollars had been deposited into his account. The message informed him of this development. The news completely shattered his worldview. 

100 million dollars? 

It's beyond my comprehension how something like that could just appear out of thin air like that. 

Even though Eric wanted to ask the mysterious girl in front of him all of the questions that he had, he was unable to bring himself to say a word to her. Eric had a lot of questions for the girl, and he wanted to make sure that he asked her all of them.

"Do you, Zoe Hills, ever wonder if you're playing some kind of ingenious con game on people? Do you persist in taking advantage of other people's gullibility by sending them false alerts? It is hard for me to believe that a young woman as beautiful as you would work with criminals to rob banks. I find it hard to believe that you would do something like that. It is difficult for me to accept the fact that my run of good fortune is about to come to an end and be replaced by bad luck.” 

"In what specific ways are you familiar with it? My bank account does not have more than a few dollars in it, and the financial institution that holds it has not gotten in touch with me in a significant amount of time despite the fact that they have had ample opportunity to do so. For what in the name of all that is holy could I possibly get them at this point in time?" 

Eric was unable to shake his state of disbelief and refused to listen to what was being said because he kept looking at the message in the notification bar on his phone . Eric was unable to believe what he was seeing. No matter how many times he examined it, he couldn't change the outcome of this situation. 

"Zoe Hills, or whatever your name is again, if you continue to play with my feelings like this, I won't spare you—," the other person threatened. 

It was at a point in the middle of his belittling that he was in the middle of when his phone began to ring, and it caused him to pause in the middle of what he was doing. 

Eric reluctantly answered the phone when it turned out to be his bank trying to get in touch with him. When he found out who was calling, he was relieved. 

"Good morning, Mr. Eric Ferguson, I'm calling as your account manager, David Lindsay, to congratulate you on being selected as the top customer of the week. I'm happy to say that you've earned this distinction. I wanted to give you a call and tell you that I couldn't be more proud of you. I wanted to take the time to call and offer my congratulations because I think you truly deserve it. A short while ago, we were able to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the total amount of one hundred million dollars had been added to your account. This was accomplished by establishing that your account had been credited. That you have decided to conduct business with our highly regarded financial institution is something that we count as a great honor and privilege.”

“You are the best customer we have ever had, and we want to congratulate you on the significant amount of money you have saved as a direct result of saving with us.You have been selected to receive a lifetime savings interest of five million dollars from our prestigious financial institution, which has decided to bestow this honor upon you. Because of the previous investment you made, you now have 105 million dollars in your bank account.”

“In the event that you find yourself in need of additional assistance in the administration of your account in the near future, you are more than welcome to pay a visit to the financial institution in question. You can also simply give me a call, and I will be available to help you whenever you find that you need my assistance. This is an alternative to the first option.”
