Chapter 87 – Lesson 101

Thea and Steve did not insist on bringing Bree and Sean back to their house. Despite being eleven, Sean bawled, telling his mother how scared he was when Bree could not breathe, so Samantha decided just to bring him home. One of these days, I would have to explain to him what he should do when something like that happens again.

I understand the fear they all went through, and it was only right to let them have a better sleep tonight. Everyone was scared today, and I did not want it to happen again. The last thing Bree needs is a family panicking in times of emergency.

I used to be scared before, but it changed everything when I had Bree. She needed a mother who she could rely on at all times, and now I had to give her Dad lesson 101 on what to do in case of emergency.

Blake wrapped his arms behind me and rested his head on my shoulder as we watched Bree sleeping deeply in her bed.
