Chapter Eighty Six

Justin’s POV

“I’m confident that we can win this case, J.” Carter, my attorney and friend from law school said.

We were currently seated in a courtroom, we had been sat there for over an hour waiting for the judge to arrive. It frustrated me to no end that I couldn’t leave despite having more important matters to tend to at the office. I was sitting on one side of the courtroom with Carter while Bella was on the other side with her lawyer.

The divorce had taken a drastic turn all because Bella had chosen to do things the difficult way. I’d filed for a divorce with her infidelity being the reason for the divorce and she’d sued me for emotional abuse and a bunch of other things I didn't do.

And now, I was going to have to be frequenting the courtroom more often than I’d ever like.

My phone beeped, I was getting called from the office again. I had a board meeting scheduled in the next few minutes, an important meeting I could not miss.
