Chapter 18 - New Journey

After Marie met with Dr. Hudrisch and Sharyn, her first week in Denmark was packed with exams, interviews, and demonstrations of teaching. Her experiences at Ramon Magsaysay High School suddenly came back to her.

She continued praying harder as she prepared for her turn, asking God's guidance, "I need to visit the nearby church here later." Dear God, I don't know what may happen but I give You all my trust."

Since Sharyn knew she was a bit uneasy about what might happen, she often told her, "Just do your part." Since these steps were just formalities, Sharyn urged her many times. Marie was thankful for Sharyn’s attitude toward her. She was kind and thoughtful. As soon as she had the time, she sent her messages or called to remind her about school papers.
