Chapter 52- The Return

When Marie was awakened after several hours of fainting, her parents were there watching her. Le and Lan were told that Marie would be awakened at any moment, so they chose to be there as soon as she opened her eyes.

“Mother, father. What happened?”

“Can’t you remember what happened before you fainted?” Le worriedly asked as she gestured for Lan to call the doctors.

Marie blinked and rolled her eyes as she surveyed the place where she was at the moment.

“I remember now.” As she became aware of the dextrose on her hand and the oxygen on her nose, she said softly.
