Chapter Fifty Two: A kiss

Throughout the car ride, no word was said to each other. They both stayed on their part, annoyance and anger invading the whole car. Reyna faced the window, staring at it while Niko just drove home as he tried to focus on the road. He kept seeing her smiling face in his head, especially with another guy and it infuriated him the more. Immediately they got home and he parked the car, Reyna did not say anything as she got out of the car and slammed the door, her feet moving towards the entrance.

“You were out late. I had no choice than to come and get you. You can’t just be angry at me for that.” Niko said to her immediately they got inside the house.

“Is that why you dragged me like that! Is that why you think you can just come and get me without even giving me any chance to talk or do anything to myself!” She yelled out to him.

“I didn’t mean it to happen that way. I was just annoyed at the fact that I was worried about you and you were there, seated there, smiling at someone.” He ret
