“Even if that’s the girl he chose, you won’t accept it?” James' mother asked again, earning a glare from her husband as she kept her mouth quiet immediately.

“Call him again. Tell him he needs to be here in the next 30 minutes or else..”

“Or else what?” A voice cut her off as they all whipped their heads towards the entrance.

Nicholas entered into the room, his stick stepping front before him as he eyed them all. Nikos father has his heart in his hand as he sees the man he had not seen after their daughter died in their hands.

“Seems you’re all forgetting who brought you into what you are now.” He added as he took his seat inside the room.

Niko entered shortly after that, his hand intertwined with Reyna’s as he bowed to them.

“Good evening father, it’s quite late if you ask me. But we still had to be here.”He said, receiving a nudge from Reyna who only greeted them with a nod.

They both found a place to sit down, completing the family meeting they’ve been waiting for and waiting for t
