It was a dark and silent night. The only sound in the study was the clacking of the keyboard. James continued to work, but his mind was filled with Summer's smiles and laughter.

Meanwhile, out in the living room, Summer was curled up on the sofa watching TV, but her attention wasn't on the TV at all. She was thinking about what James had said to her earlier. It made her unsettled.
