Chapter 74

Shawn walked into the estate from staying overnight at Joshua’s estate and could smell lemon cake baking in the air.

He followed his nose and froze in his steps when he saw Aldridge standing behind the table wearing an apron and mixing batter together. Shawn smiled and said, “I never thought I’d see this day where you would be cooking for me.”

Aldridge looked up surprised then rolled his eyes and said, “Oh please, you are getting nothing. Didn’t Joshua feed you?”

Shawn sighed and walked over. He hugged Aldridge from behind and kissed him on the cheek and said, “I missed you too.”

“I did not miss you Shawn so do not assume that I missed you,” Aldridge said.
