Becoming one

He turned to me and now I was facing him. His hand that was on my waist tightened. He pulled me closer. I can feel butterflies erupting in my stomach. A turmoil of unknown emotions erupted in my body Sudden stroke of thunder and lightning followed by a downpour disrupted our moment.

“ OMG, it is raining. I love rains.” I shouted like a child who got its favorite chocolate.

“ Do you want to go out and have a look?” Noticing our position and my excitement, I nodded shyly.

Taking my hand in his he pulled me to the balcony. He pointed towards the left side where I saw a passage. When he switched on the light I saw a flight of stairs going towards the garden. He offered his hand which I took gladly.
