Kayda. Being away from Eoin is tougher than I had anticipated, and it had been quite annoying learning that being unmarked seemed to maybe lessen the effects of my dragon and wolfs pinning and longing for him but that the effects were still strong. Ash. After Dr. Teller mind linked me as I finished training looking for Kayda, I was a little worried. she hadn't been answering his calls or mind links, and now she wasn't answering mine. I went to the Gamma apartment and found her room empty. Danny and Dottie looked tired with their two newborns needing attention they really didn't know where Kayda was. I followed my super sensative trackers nose out onto the balcony and immediately knew where she was. I walked into my brothers room and found my best friend cuddled up in his clothing in the walk-in closet. I watched her closely as she slept. She seemed pale. This mate thing was really messing with her. I don't know why her and Eoin hesitated to mark each other and make their relationship public. I would love to have found a mate like Kayda. Kayda. I ate in the pack hall with Ash, but I was now hyper aware of my condition and the fact I now was beginning to smell like Eoin because of our pup. Once lunch was over, I left Ash to head to the gym as I darted up to my room. I sprayed a few spurts of Sage's scent concealing potion. It made me think about Sage as I pulled out my mobile phone and rang her. I waited patiently as it rang out and gave a frustrated sigh. Ash. "Ash, they're taking me." Kayda panicked voice filled our mindlink. I raced in my wolf form towards the resting meadow. Palace warriors were on my tail. I linked my dad and Beta Adam, who were also on route. No one had noticed the rogues breach the royal border, meaning we had a serious security issue. When I broke from the tree line into the meadow, there were rogues waiting, but Kayda was gone. I fought the rogue who attacked me. It was clear these rogues were left to slow us down. "Try to keep them alive for interrogation." I barked at the warriors with me. It only took moments, but it felt like forever when I got across the meadow, leaving the rogues to the warriors as they rounded them up. I followed Kayda's very faint scent it was mixed with the sour scent of the rogues and the harsh scent of the chemicals. I followed it all the way to the borders where I found our Palace patrol gaurds slaughtered. I linked my father the information and to send medic in case, but I cou

Kayda. I opened my eyes briefly, gaining consciousness as I was being slightly tossed around in the back of some van. The floor was hard and cold beneath me. I could feel the vomit rising in my throat, but before I could worry about the nausea, I felt another wave of drowsiness hit me as I fell back into darkness. When I next awoke, I could feel humidity hanging heavily in the warm air. I was now lying on a soft surface that smelt clean and kept. I forced my heavy eyelids open and took in the room. There were large windows showing off the night sky, but I appeared to be looking out over the inky black sky that met the dark depts of what looked like a sea. I moved closer and noted my window hung over a steep and high plunging cliff. The room had a Mediterranean feel, and the floor tiles were terracotta in appearance. Eoin. I snapped my phone shut after Ash's disturbing news. This was a lot to take in, but the main concern now was that Kayda was missing. My mate was taken from within Palace boundaries, and both Jagger and I were fuming. I was going to track down whoever took her and tear them limb from limb.
