Chapter 81- A Palace horse

In the darkness of the night, Jake could clearly see the shape of the Prince's face with the crescent moon on his background. The sound of a thud could be heard through Jake's ringing ears. He subconsciously glanced aside and saw another man who approached.

Jake gathered all the ounce of strength he had left to get up and fight one more time.

"Get him up!" Prince Terrah ordered.

A man rushed over and aggressively lifted him up to his feet. The man stood aside when he got a head signal from the Prince. "Should I rough him up-"

A hand gesture interrupted the man.

"I thought you'd be long gone by now, Jake. But I knew you were smart enough to avoid the village."

"Prince Terrah, don't go back on your word," Jake pleaded.

"I'm not going to, it's obvious that you want to get us all in trouble so I came to help you out." The Prince smiled.

The man beside the Prince was startled.

"Servant, put him on the horse and send him towards the woods."
