Chapter 85- The Chase

"What, they know." Mr Heart said before he turned and fled.

Jake had turned around as well, staring up at the approaching men before twisting around and racing behind the medicine man.

"Kill!"

Dozens of bandits gave chase through the woods. Knowing this territory like the back of their hands, they quickly cut a hundred metres distance to about fifty metres in just mere minutes.

Seeing the bandits getting closer, Mr Heart changed direction, cutting through a small rocky hill with Jake on his heels.

"Old man, where the hell are we headed to now!" Jake yelled as he added speed. The due ducked and avoided many rocks, jumping over some before they reached a descending steep hill.

The medicine man looked down the dusty intimidating and descending steep hill and looked back at the oncoming crowds. Jake soon caught up and looked down as well.

"What the hell?" Jake cried, looking at that, one could fall to their death if they were not careful.

"Either we jump, or we die."
