10 XAVIER

10 XAVIER

Her smile pierced through me.

“First date, huh?” I nod and she laughs loudly.

“Yeah. I want to take you out before I get a taste of anything else.”

I let my hands slide down her sweet, sweet body, and grip her ass through her jeans.

“Hmmm. And where is it that we would go, Xavier?” She questions, giggling as I squeeze her ass a little tighter.

“Well, I take it that you might be a fan of horror movies. There’s a new Scream movie coming out next weekend, if you’re free.” I offer, looking at her ‘Child’s Play’ shirt.

She sighs dramatically and kisses me lightly. “Next weekend? That’s so far away. What will I do until then?” She teases.

I laugh with her and pull her tighter against my body. “Well, I am going to a party on Tuesday. It’s my best friend's party on the beach. His parties always turn into ragers, just a heads up.”

She laughs at me before dragging my mouth back to hers.

“I would love to go to the party with you, Xavier. But I have my first shift on Tuesday. So I guess I am going to have to wait all week for that first date.”

I frown dramatically. “Hmm, that’s going to suck. Now all week I’m going to be thinking about getting to kiss you again.”

She laughs as I begin to pepper kisses all over her face. “Stop it!” She pleads, laughing loudly.

“I should get your number so that I can call you when I start feeling like I need one of your legendary kisses.” I suggest.

“Legendary?” She questions me jokingly.

“The best I’ve ever had.” I confirm, smiling down at her.

“Well, in that case I guess I really do have to give you my number now. Though I do plan on changing it tomorrow, so just be prepared for me to text you with the new one.”

I look at her with a small frown. “Changing your number? Is everything okay?” I ask her, lifting her face to mine when she refuses to meet my eyes at first.

“Yeah, it will be once I change my number. I’m ready to leave my past in the past, is all.” She smiles meekly. “Now, let me help you pick all of this stuff up before someone else comes up the elevator.”

I laugh at her attempt to change the subject but pull away nonetheless. “Yeah, there’s little risk of that happening. The other five apartments on this floor were being rented by single mom’s. Four of them graduated last week and have moved out already.  And the fifth one actually just got engaged and moved into her fiance's home.”

“So the rest of the floor is pretty empty, then?” She questions, smiling at me provocatively.

I nod as we begin to pick up the papers off of the floor.

“Yeah, it’s empty right now except for me and Jennifer. And you, now.” I throw a smirk her way and she giggles quietly. “I have a few empty apartments on the other two floors, but I’m not planning on filling them until closer to August. The apartments will be updated first. I like to make sure everything is fresh before the new tenants arrive.”

She smiles at me and stands, a stack of the exams in her hands. I rise to my feet with her, the remaining exams in my hand.

“That’s sweet of you to care about your tenants, kind sir. I’m assuming by the look of the place so far that you actually care about your tenants.”

I smile, feeling the heat crawl up my neck at her compliment. “Yeah, I try to do as much as I can. I have an especially soft spot for single parents, in case you can’t tell.”

She flashes a smile my way once more, but I can’t help but notice the look pass through her eyes.

Something tells me that she knows a little bit about what it’s like to be raised by a single mother.

“Well, here is all of your paperwork. I hope you have a good night, Softy.” She pecks my lips before turning towards her apartment.

“Wait, Lexie!” I call after her.

She turns towards me quickly, a smirk on her face.

“Yes, Softy?” She smiles at me brightly.

I frown at the nickname. “Softy? Do I need to show you something hard to prove that I’m not just some softie?” I joke, striding towards her after setting the stack of exams onto the floor by my door.

“I’m just playing! Besides, do you want me to go around calling you Hardy?” She teases, wrapping her arms around my neck when I reach her.

“Call me whatever you want, Sweetheart. As long as you know that nothing about me is soft.” I press my thick pant clad erection against her, and her eyes widen in surprise.
