CHAPTER 94 - The Nasty Passion
Amarah abruptly turned and swallowed a scream when she felt someone putting an arm around her shoulders. She stopped herself from throwing a punch when she realized that it was Matt with Lily behind him. She was lounging around a secluded area by the river, contemplating her thoughts.
Matt was looking at her with a curious look and removed his arm around her.
“Are you alright?” He asked intently. He studied her carefully, looking at her up and down and staying a bit longer on her face. “You looked quite alarmed. Are you getting enough sleep, Arah? You have dark circles under your eyes.”
She nodded as she swallowed slowly.
“Yes, I’m okay,” Amarah answered slowly as she fixed herself up. She stared at Lily, who’s stomach in pushing out more with the baby she’s carrying. She smiled at her. “Are you, two going for a walk? It’s best not to overdo.”
