Chapter 41- With All Due Respect Mr. Godwin, It's None Of Your Business

Amberleigh was slightly annoyed that Grayson insisted on overseeing Leo’s morning antibiotic infusion. The only thing which kept her from being pissed off was because she’d come to learn his need for control was a part of the billionaire’s personality. He didn’t think her completely incompetent to get the job done, rather he wanted to feel useful and didn’t take a hands-off approach very well. He also blamed himself for Leo’s current predicament and wanted to do everything in his power to get him well. So, Amber tolerated him breathing down her neck that morning.

Grayson criticized how quickly Amber flushed Leo’s IV, telling her she’d blow his vein. He also reminded her not to puncture the bag of antibiotics when she spiked it with the IV tubing, before he took over the job himself. She took calming breaths and let him complete that task. She set the IV pump and got settled in next to Leo for the hour-long infusion.
