Chapter Thirty One

Jared’s POV

We made our way into the city in wanted to take her out to a nice dinner at this upscale restaurant. Its lighting was just candles that were on the tables and a couple of chandeliers. It was an old building that had been around for centuries. It drew in a lot of pack members and other supernaturals. Not many humans lingered around. I glanced over at Storm who was looking out the window trying to glimpse the scenery as the sun was setting casting many shadows. I just smiled and set my hand on her exposed knee giving it a squeeze. She looked over at me then. Her hand setting on top of mine and she leaned her head over resting it on my shoulder.

“Thank you.” She said.

“For what?” I asked slightly confused.

“For being everything I’ve needed you to be and then some. I know we didn’t get the perfect start and that I’m used goods but-“

I cut her off I wouldn’t let her finish. “First off not everything gets it’s perfect beginning or ending and second don’t ever describe yoursel
