Hurts Like Hell!

Mike’s POV

I felt so lost after that wild and unforgettable weekend I shared with Nicky for the last time. I knew she would have been so far and practically, literally, or virtually, and whatever just about word that would fit to describe the distance between us just to say she wasn’t within my reach. Near or far.

But I couldn’t help feeling so lost and down. I accept everything. I was glad and grateful I got to create friendship and good, if not best, memories with her, and she wasn’t someone I could expect to stick around. She obviously was someone who just happened to swing by in my life, but I think the taste of that joy made me want to greed for more.
