Freda’s POV

As I made my way to my chambers, a surge of urgency pulsed through my veins. The weight of responsibility settled upon my shoulders, and I knew that time was of the essence. I needed to reach out to Scarlett and inform her of the compromised situation within the pack, despite the uncertainty that still clouded my mind.

I entered my chambers and swiftly closed the door behind me. Taking a deep breath to steady my racing thoughts, I reached for the communication crystal on my desk. Holding it in my hands, I closed my eyes and focused my energy, connecting with Scarlett's presence. After a brief moment, her image flickered into view, concern etched across her face.
