I watched the curious wolf, confused and alarmed by this particular place.

"What is this place?" He asked me. He poked a bobblehead figure and then flinched back wry at it. I created the same item when I went to New York for my second anniversary with David.

"This," I plopped down on my bed, relaxing. "This is my apartment."

“A-part-ment?”

I chuckled at his cute expression.

"When I transgressed into this world and learned of my powers, I decided to create a sanctuary where I can be myself," I say, brushing my hand over the soft cushion. "I had recreated my apartment into this small space."

I used a lot of my magic to make a replica of everything from my memories. Every piece of furniture, nook, cranny, and decoration is in my apartment.

I want to feel like I'm back home when I'm here. But it's been a long time since I have been here.
