It was one night away from her enthronement. She had been receiving dignitaries from neighbouring packs as she helped in restoring their peace. Her life was more than perfect, or at least, better than what it used to be. She got an apartment for Ray pending the day of her enthronement as she thought to mark her mate the same night she became the Alpha.

“We need to prepare the pyramid grounds and wash it clean. I will be away for a while, Alpha,” Larry announced to her one evening and left. She entered her room and prepared for a good rest.
