VIVIANA
Mr. Garter was sent home safely. I made sure that Winter did the job. Baspo joined me outside the packhouse. I was confused? Well, I wasn’t. I made a promise to myself. I couldn’t turn back now. I didn’t know what to do? Where to start? I was going insane.
The voices in my head made me insane. Alaric’s words, Alpha dad’s suggestions, Mr. Garter’s grinning face, and Miracle’s nagging. These things made a loop and I was stuck in that for now.
I reflexively covered my ears. Baspo cleared his throat.
“My Luna, are you okay?” His voice held concern. I managed myself and nodded. I wasn’t okay, but I had to. For Alaric. I couldn’t let him sense this.
Miracle had been a good wolf. She didn’t need to be told again. She would stay silent till I feel like confessing everything to Alaric. At least, that was a relief.
