Chapter 76

Arielle’s POV:

I sighed happily as I finished the last bit of my ice cream.

“That was great,” I said out loud. It was in fact more that great; it was perfect.

“I don’t know,” Lily replied moments later, taking her last spoonful of ice cream as well and dropping the spoon in the plastic tub that was now empty of its contents with a thud. “I’m more partial to strawberry myself.”

I giggled; she had said that three times in the last hour already.

I enjoyed the ambience in the room; it was already close to sunset,

And I could see how the sun’s rays lit everywhere up in golden light.

Lilian and I had gone out to find some ice cream on the town, and in the end, we did go shopping as well. That was evident by the numerous amount of bags with names of boutiques pasted on them.

I could still taste the remains of the vanilla ice cream on my tongue, and I loved it far more than I liked strawberry. Instead of saying that to Lilian however, what I did next was to gesture around us.
