Elena's POV
The fire burning in my body finally died down, and I fell heavily on the ground with such force that it made me hit my head on the floor heavily.
I shrieked and held my head, tears falling off freely. The pain was so intense, like a huge blow. It was strange and I don't know what happened. All I could tell was that I had just fought with someone in spirit form...
"I'm sorry..." I heard a female voice in me before it faded away as if it never existed.
"Who are you and what did you do to me?" I asked with a deep groan but got no reply.
"What happened to me?" I questioned that voice with a louder voice, but the silence lingered.
"Lena, who was that?" I asked, and she sighed.
"I don't know what you are talking about, I just don't feel comfortable before now. Your body was too hot for me to stay and powers were oozing out. What kind of hybrid are you?" She asked, and I took a deep sigh, raising myself from
"You must be joking, sister, that can't happen, we both know that!" Dorian frowned, as the car drove into the Royal Packhouse, and I bit my lower lip, feeling my heart grow heavy in anger. Dorian, I don't need you to believe me or not; my instinct doesn't lie. I went into the garden where Jason should be, that same place he had always stayed alone. You can't believe I got there and he was sitting on the ground like there was someone he was talking to. I got closer and there was no one there, but I saw the white fur in his hand, "Elena noticed me coming and ran away!" I pressed on and Dorian opened the car, stepping out while I did the same. "She can't leave the house without anyone finding out. Even if she succeeds, she won't be stupid enough to come to the school when she knows we will find out," he shrugged, heading in. I growled and clenched my fist tightly. I could recall the smiles that appeared on Jason's face while playing with t
The Beta grabbed her hair tightly and peered into her eyes. "You little demon, you've got no right to question her!" He growled and slammed her down to the floor, hardly making her shrill. In pain, "Listen to my order!" My father began, and everyone turned to him. "Since she defiled my command, she would be severely punished!Get chains to lock her in that room, keep the doors shut all day except when she is given food once daily and of small size just to keep her alive!! ... add a little quantity of wolfsbane to the chain to torture her and keep her weak! " My Dad ordered it, and I couldn't help the joy that filled my heart. I quickly ran to him and hugged him tightly. "Dad, you are the best!" I squealed. "But you saved me before?" "Why are you being this cruel suddenly again?" We heard Elena muffled, and I sneered at her. "Your magic isn't working anymore. You are a demon and I can't wait for your clan to arrive
Elena's POV My eyes fluttered open and finally, I woke up. A loud hiss escaped my lips as I found out I was alive and had also woken up, meaning it was another day, another new day to face the pains which had been my companion since I was born. Last night was terrible and heartbreaking. The guards got the chains over my wrists and locked them to a hook on the wall from both sides, leaving me in a restrained position. I could only go up to my bed and down to the floor. I thought Dad was joking and would retract his words, but I was mistaken; he still hates me as deeply and rawly as he always has; it was a miracle he saved me the other day; I had been stupid to think Dad would ever like or feel pity for me. At first, I was awake, yet I found no strength to move from my contorted sleeping position. The pain from last night hadn't left my body. The wolfsbane had been my shadow. They kept using it on me, so that at some point I would think Lena was dead.
The person burst into a laughter as he saw I was damn afraid, the hood and scary mask was pulled off and I saw it was Dorian my brother.. "I was planning to scare you in your room but...Scarlett!!!" My brother called out as he saw how disturbed I am, the tears made him confused, "What happened?" He asked and I sniffed, "Are you sure that Elena used magic on Jason or it is natural, like they found love in each other?" I asked with a meek voice sulking like a kid, "Hey, stop acting timid, don't listen to whatever she says, that's why she is the demon!!...listen, since she is bounded, you have to be happy, Jason would be caught in her sorcery again!" He said with a strong tone like he was so sure with what he was saying, "So you mean I can have Jason to myself?" I asked and he chuckled, "You know he hardly fall in l
Jason's POV My gaze moved to the piece of paper she tore and I couldn't hold the silent growl. I was too angry and it was hard to hold myself. It was damn so difficult. Was she stupid? She picked up the drawing that fell from my bag and tore it without asking me any questions. "She's not going to use her demonic powers on you the next time!!!" She seethed, her expression exuding envy and hatred. The teacher would arrive soon, "Can you please make the torture more intense and also tell her you hate her with passion?" She whined, holding my hand. I forced out a smile and nodded. The smile couldn't last for a few seconds before it vanished. I was tired of forcing those smiles. I was so angry at myself that I had to smile at her. I can't believe she's saying this to a girl like herself, and I'm curious
"Hey Elena, stop looking at my mate that way!!!" The voice of Scarlett huffed, making me flinch back to reality.I didn't even recognize her presence all this time."Wait, is this Jason?" I asked, peering into his face with a bright smile.I couldn't stop myself from jumping up and rushing to him with a tight hug, oblivious to Scarlett, who was standing beside him."Guards, push this demon away from him!!!" Scarlett ordered, and they pushed me off of him so hard that my head hit the wall beside the b
The word from my father threw me back. The phone I was holding in my hand fell off my grip as the rush of terror took my feet back. My gaze rested on the man I called my father.I was too shocked to make a sound.I could have laughed and called it a joke. I could have thought he was playing a prank on me if I had not seen his face at the moment. The scariest face you will ever see. It was grim and stern to the last. The scars he got from multiple wars made him more fearful.
She turned into ashes and spread them over the floor. My eyes closed back and slowly, I shifted back to my human form. I felt every part of me reforming. The wings went into my back and closed up like they were never there. My claw all turned into a normal finger. I felt the rage in me drift away. My heartbeat returned to normal and I felt myself becoming the human I was. My whole body was weakened and I had to trace the chair with half-opened eyes. I plopped down on it. My breath was heavy as I finally opened my eyes, which had become normal, I looked around and couldn't understand what I did. I can remember shifting, but something was strange about it all. My mind was controlled by a force which I couldn't understand. It was like someone was telling me what to do, My gaze drifted to the ashes on the ground with pieces of charred bones and that made me recall what I did. I can remember but I can't tell why I was so angry at the woman. S
