Damon's POV

My eyes fluttered and opened only for me to see myself in a strange place, a land I knew nothing about. I can't remember how I got here, I can't tell where it was, but I was glad I wasn't dead. After the terror that fell on my demon clan, killing everyone, I never thought of being alive and right now, it makes me sigh in relief.

The scene of that day was fresh in my mind and sent nothing but excruciating pain across my heart. In the twinkle of an eye, my whole demons were wiped out. Something I suffered to create. I made a lot of sacrifices to get those disciples and trained them with my powers only for King Bane and his daughter to kill them all.
