Third POV.

“Where are you taking me?” Josiah asked as the guards encircled him.

“Stop asking questions. You will know when we get there,” one of the guards asked angrily.

Josiah was so angry that he wondered where the guard had gotten the nerve to ask him in that manner. Ever since he was a child, he was admired by my kids of his age and some of the parents were envious of his parents. They wished that they were the ones who had taken him in. The fact that his adoptive parents were elders of the kingdom helped out too, that’s why even the members of the council and the kings were so respectful to him. If it weren’t for what had happened years ago, he would have been a member of the council too. Even though he refused it, he has always been considered as one.

Elana had a smirk on her face when she saw his angry face, she knew what he was thinking but she didn’t care about that at all. She rubbed the cheek that her grandmother had slapped her and smiled as she swore revenge even though
