Even though he did not complete his words, everyone understood what he was trying to say.

“I ….I… I don’t know what you are trying to say,” Simon denied as he hid his panic.

“You don’t? Simon, we know what you are trying to do. We know that you can’t accept the fact that your daughter will be the next queen of our land. That’s why you can’t even respect Leila. You are jealous of her,” Mike said calmly but his eyes were looking at him sternly.

“You just can’t accuse me without any evidence. That’s slandering and you will get punished for slandering me,” Simon roared as he was tired of listening to Mike as he was afraid it was too late.

The other elders understood what Mike was trying to say and it was proved right when they saw his reaction. They sighed as if they had ever thought that he could do such a thing to get a high position and become rich and respected. They even suspected that he could kill the king if he could get a chance so that he could be the king.
