GREY’S POV

I stared at the documents in front of me, not seeing anything anymore. Everything was beginning to make sense.

Parker had come in earlier this morning to report what I asked for. I had been mad at him for bringing it in three days later, but he said it had been hard to get any information on my mate. She had no information about her except that she was a member of the Montrose Pack.

Apart from that, she pretty much didn’t exist.

That wasn’t even the most shocking part in all of this. That was on page two of the file. Parker said he contacted someone from her Pack who was his close friend and had told him everything about her. It turned out she was the Alpha’s daughter and last child who had been maltreated since she turned five, beaten almost every day by her father and many Pack members.

Her father didn’t do anything to stop the abuse because he was the one who instigated it. She had been degraded and abused her whole life.
