GREY'S POV

Was it weird that I still worried about the things that were going to happen? It was my responsibility to protect the pack but even at times I was scared of what the outcome would be, I glanced at my mate, sound asleep before slipping out of my bed. To find a way to get this rogue I knew that I certainly had to align with the other packs. Sometimes I found myself wondering what next?

Sometimes I felt stuck and unhappy even though I didn't know how to express myself to anyone. I went out to get some air but the atmosphere was certainly more tense than I expected, my senses were heightened and I could sense something fishy from the distance. I could hear the sound of footsteps and if I didn't know the sounds I would have thought it was a rogue, but of course I knew someone was leading a troop. By midnight, they were certainly up to something...I just knew it. I could smell them and the growl emanated from my throat.
