Thirty-seven

"Pick a spot then," Damien told Aria.

Aria exhaled softly and turned her head around the park as she tried to spot one of the stone chairs.

She smiled triumphantly when she spotted one chair at the far end of the park. It was situated in a corner where they could see every activities in that position of the chair. This was just what they needed.

"I have made my choice," Aria announced.

Damien turned to face her. "Let's hear it," Damien gave the go ahead.

Aria titled her head towards the chair and turned back to Damien.

“That chair at the far end. It has a good view of everything," Aria said and began to walk towards.

Damien too followed her to the stone chair and once they reached it, Aria sat on the chair first and patted the side beside her for Damien to sit. She felt that she could speak with him freely. But she could not just get rid of the shyness so easily.

Damien did as Aria wanted and took his seat beside her. Then he threw her a smile before turning to the glistening water.
