Chapter Fifty-three

GULTHER'S POV

I paced back and forth in my office. I saw red. Literally. I was angry. I was disappointed. I felt used. I had specifically asked Elsa not to do anything stupid and she assured me I had nothing to worry about. She assured me that the one week time she had done in the cell had done her some good, yet here we were on the same road we all thought we'd moved on from. Andrew said nothing, he just sat there watching my every movement. He knew me well enough to understand that talking to me when I was angered was not a very bright thought. 

"You need to calm down, she was not injured was she."

"That is not the problem, the problem is that she had left even after all the talks we've had. What if she was shot? Or kidnapped, or killed. How can one be so careless with their own life?"
