Chapter Thirty-two

ELSA'S POV.

I woke up to the sound of Nia's voice whispering in my ear. At first, I was disoriented, but then I remembered that we were still in Nia's room and that Alpha Gulther and Arthur were back. I felt a strange sense of reassurance. Even though I knew that they were capable of handling any situation that might arise, the fact that they were here made me feel safer.

As Nia helped me sit up in bed, I noticed the sunlight streaming in through the window. It was a beautiful day outside, but I couldn't shake the feeling of anxiety that had been building up inside me since the attack. I knew that we were lucky to be alive, but I couldn't help but worry about what might happen next.

I spent most of the day in Nia's room, trying to distract myself by reading a book that she had lent me. But even as I turned the pages, I couldn't stop my mind from wandering back to the events of the previous night.
