# Chapter 11 The Rescue

Alpha Alexander’s POV

Kira walked for what felt like days, the forest giving way to rolling hills and open fields. She had no idea where she was going, but she knew that she needed to put as much distance between herself and the pack as possible. As she walked, she thought about Cole, wondering how he was doing and if he had managed to escape the wrath of his pack.

As the sun began to set on the third day of her journey, Kira spotted a small village in the distance. She quickened her pace, eager to find some food and a place to rest for the night. As she entered the village, she was immediately struck by how friendly the people were. They welcomed her with open arms, offering her food and a place to stay.

Kira was grateful for their kindness, but she knew that she couldn't stay for long. She needed to keep moving, to find a place where she could start over and build a new life for herself. So, after a night of rest, she said her goodbyes to the villagers and set off once again.
