Chapter 43

EVA'S POV

As the sun began to set on the horizon, casting a warm golden glow on the earth, I sat on a couch, nervously tapping my foot. I had been waiting for what felt like an eternity and my heart raced with anticipation. In the distance, I could hear the sounds of birds chirping happily and the gentle rustling of leaves in the breeze. But all I could think about was him. Where was he? Why was he taking so long? Where was Zayn?

Zayn had brought me into a strange room that I had never been to and asked me to wait for him till he got back, he warned me sternly not to dare leave the room without his permission. So I just sat down there for hours waiting for him to return as he promised but I was getting tired of waiting. I was becoming bored and I wanted to go and look for him but when I remembered how angry he was at me the last time and the look on his face, I decided to just sit quietly and wait till he came back.
