EVA'S POV

I sat on my bed with Zero, listening intently to her advice. She was telling me to leave Adrian, that he was just playing with my feelings.

And to be honest, Zero was right, of course. I had known it all along, but I just could not bring myself to leave him. Adrian was the first guy I had ever loved, and I had fallen for him completely – so leaving him was something that felt so hard for me to do. How could I just leave someone that I had deep feelings for? It's easier said than done.
