**Scarlett's POV**

I didn't know what to say. I tried opening my mouth, hoping to speak, but no words came out.

“Why are you suddenly quiet? It's true, right?” He asked.

I tried to speak, but it was like my mouth was sealed together. Just then, the door burst open and Cassandra walked in, swaying her hips, obviously showing off.

“Are you still here? Honey, why haven't you sent her away from here?” She asked, looking at me like she had seen shit.

Honey? That word riled me up. “You do know you're talking to my man, right?” I asked with a glare.

“Really? He is your man, yet you cheated on him with a common palace guard.” She laughed.

“I didn't cheat. I did nothing wrong. Alpha, I was with you that night, remember. I'm not that heartless!” I snapped.

“Shut the fuck up, Scarlett!” He yelled and I gasped. “There is nothing to prove anymore, so why don't we get even?” He smirked, facing Cassandra.

“What are you talking about? What do you mean?” I asked. It better not be what I'm thinking ab
