**Scarlett's POV**

It was a valley filled to the brim with purple flowers. I wondered why a valley that's supposed to be scary would look so beautiful. I stepped into the valley and looked around. There was an ocean of roses, each with its own unique scent, but there was also a forest of lavender. I didn't know much about flora and fauna in general, but it seemed like one of those places that should only appear when there is no sun or rain for days on end.

A few feet in front of me lay a pool of gold. It was the source of the lovely smell. The flowers were just the beginning. I felt like a princess walking into the forest, and my stomach fluttered. I wanted to go further into the lush forest to find more pools of golden light. I had a feeling I knew which direction they led, though.
