I could care less about Khalid’s exes. They aren’t my problem. Though I have heard of Dania, I don’t need to meet her to know I’d knock that bitch out.

I know exactly how she treated Isis. The anger I felt on behalf of a stranger at the time seemed extreme. But, reflecting on it, maybe somewhere in my or Godric’s subconscious, we knew Isis was our mate.

I smirked as Dani said she’d spoken to and told off Dania. Not that I’m going to ask. I do wonder how that conversation went. I feel that Dani isn’t the sort who would go into details.

“I don’t remember that. Is that why you crushed my phone and said I needed to get a burner to avoid getting tracked?” Khalid questioned.

Dani shrugged. “My reasoning was sound. If she could reach you anyone in your guild could. It wasn’t intelligent of you to keep the same phone. And if someone kept you on the phone long enough, they could track it.”
