At that point, some elders of the community walked up to Richard and inquired, “Good afternoon officer. How may we help you?”

“How may I help you?” He asked them with a stoic face.

The crestfallen elders looked at each other and one of them apologized, “Pardon our offense. We wished to know why you are here?”

“I wish to know why are you here. Is this your house?” Richard asked and the other hostile guards focused on them.

“No, Officer. It's our brother's house,” he answered.

“Let your brother come and ask us what we are doing in his house.”

“He can't come,” another elder said.

“Why? Is the house not his?”

“It is his house but he can't come,” another elder answered.

“Why can't he come? Where is he?”

They were attracted by the sound of the fallen walls and they tried to force their way in.

“He is sick and in the building. We need to rescue him,” the first man said and moved.

“Don't move further,” Richard thundered and they halted.
