Chapter 27

Arya pov

"Arya, my child." I lay in one corner of a dark room with my head buried in between my knees while I used my hand to clutch my knees together.

I raised my face when I heard my name. Why does she keep coming to me? This was the second time she was coming.

The dress she wore shone brightly on the floor of the room, giving it a bright light. She had long hair that stopped at her bum and freely fell on her shoulder. Its strand was properly taken care of and evenly combed down without any tangles. Her face was glowing.

She should be in her late thirties, but she looked young, like a twenty-year-old girl. What does she want from me?

"You have to protect that necklace; it's your family heirloom," she continued. Who is she? How does she know about my family?

"You know about my family; you know about my father and my mother," I asked with my eyes wide open at her. She only nodded at me. I stood up to my feet, coming close to her.
