Audrey’s POV

Still in bed and deeply lost in thoughts, I stared at my ceiling unconsciously as imaginary images began to appear on the background of the wooden brown surface that stared back at me from above.

I was still very much worried about Kaden and his current situation with Jacob. I was more worried now that Jacob was threatening to go to war with Kaden simply because of Elora’s death having accused Kaden of killing her than anything else.

What bothered me the most was the fact that I still had a strong feeling that this was all Jacob’s plan all along and if it were so, then he had somehow sacrificed an unsuspecting Elora in order to gain a step ahead of all of us in his dirty schemes.
