Chapter 39

-Kaden POV-

"That bastard!" The words pushed its way out of my gritting teeth as I pranced restlessly from one end of the room to another.

I tightened my fist, making my veins pop out in a way that it accentuated my arms. My knuckles were reddish and sore from all the suffering I had inflicted on the walls due to the sizzling rage coursing through my veins, but I didn't stop, didn’t want to.

"You should go meet him in the dungeon instead of fighting with the wall. It will yield no result," a voice said from beside me and without thinking much about who it was, I already knew it was Adler.

I simply let the hot air out of my nostrils and surrendered with my hands raised high; "You are right, I’ll just have to go now." I said.

He walked up to me, tapped lightly on my shoulder and then began prancing about the room too, making it quite obvious that he was just as restless as I was about the whole issue.

"You know what to do," he whispered into my ears.

"I know what to do, Adler," I r
