Biting her lip even harder, Missy just lowered her head, too embarrassed to admit that he was correct. Victoria had never really thought it was worth taking Missy to a fancy event in a limousine, as it had always been a little obvious that she didn't fit in those kinds of places. In fact, Missy had always felt as if her mother thought it would be a waste to take her with her anywhere, even in a car. Perhaps that was why she was so shocked: shocked that Logan thought she was worthy of such opulence.

She just hoped she didn't make him regret that night. After all, she'd already had enough experience to know that she wasn't born for those kinds of events.
