Chapter 2

Elena's stepmother is Yuna. She was a well-known actress in the entertainment world when she was younger. She now has two kids and is still well-kept, like a lovely young woman with a captivating attractiveness.

This Yuna was not in the position she is today, but she was highly capable. She not only succeeded in suppressing the ex-wife, but she also became the mistress of the Xia family, and she utilized her cunning to quickly become a fan of affluent and wealthy women.

Yuna looked stunning at today's wedding. Elena's wedding gown, too, was made to order in Milan. Yuna was admired by everybody for her dedication and sense of style.

Elena claimed she didn't know anything, revealing her tremendous timidity in the process. “It's the appropriate moment, why...,” she said as she stared at the door. Why hasn't the bridegroom been up gonna pick me up?”

Yuna's face altered as soon as the voice reached the stepmother's ears.

Everyone glanced at one other, puzzled. What was going on; didn't the bride realize she was marrying a dying ghost husband?

There will be no groom at this wedding.

“Elena, today the bridegroom...,” Zander came forward, a bit ashamed and avoiding. The bridegroom is ill and will not be able to attend. You must go to the residence on your own.”

Elena paused for a while, then grinned obediently, “OK, then I'm leaving.”

Elena climbed into the luxurious vehicle by herself.

Elena's gorgeous shadows drew the visitors' attention, and they all assumed she was a rural hick, until they noticed she was wearing a lovely bridal gown, her form was thin and elegant, and her demeanor was incomprehensible at the time.

Furthermore, her submissive and meek appearance, which she was unaware of, caused everyone to sympathize, and everyone began staring and murmuring at Yuna.

On the surface, it appears that the angelic stepmother is the one who found such a suitable marriage for her stepdaughter. She intended to marry another daughter instead of herself.

Yuna's face grew worse. She had total control over the wedding at first, but Elena quickly turned the situation around and embarrassed her. Elena seems to have been misjudged by her.

However, the future is bright, and she has options for healing herself and restoring her shattered ego!

Elena arrived at Green Garden and moved into her new home.

In the new house, there was no light, it was completely black, and the mood was a little chilly.

Elena's pair of black pupils shone brightly in the night, alert and interested. She approached the bed and noticed a man resting on the nice, large bed.

This is her husband's picture. Her fate, her future.

Elena extended her fingers to check his pulse.

Her thin wrist was grasped by a few slender fingers the next second, and the world spun about, and she was already under his body.

Elena was surprised, thinking her wedded husband was a sick ghost, but the fingers gripped on her brilliant wrist were suddenly strong, and he appeared to be in good health.

Who is he, exactly?

Elena instantly knelt and presses her knees on his groin.

But the man was even faster; he effortlessly evaded her strike, knelt, and slammed her against the wall, immobilizing her.

The action is quick, precise, and brutal.

“What are your credentials? “Give me up!”

Elena fought hard, and their bodies brushed against each other, separated only by the thin linen.

“The bride is so enthusiastic; does she want something special tonight?” said a deep and seductive voice.

“…”

Filthy!

Elena had a sudden idea that the only person who might appear in this room was her newlywed husband; it was clear that he had no physical issues and was a robust young guy.

At this point, the man's thin fingers had slipped down her chin, untying one by one the buttons on her placket.

Elena snatched his large hand and said, "I haven't moved in a long time, what are you doing?"

"Are you fulfilling your responsibilities?"

duty?

Elena heard a sly voice from outside the new house's window, and it was the maid who stopped Mrs. Lu, saying, "Old woman, this is not good, let's go back..."

“Hush.” “I'll listen with my ears instead of looking with my eyes!” the old lady said fiercely.

Mrs. Lu was eavesdropping and clinging to the window grilles.

Elena longed to stand up to watch the shadows shift, but Holden Lu pulled her back with one hand on her perfumed shoulder and said, "Hurry up."

Elena assumed he was putting on a show for the elderly lady outside and needed her help, but

“I'm not sure.”

In the dim light, Holden's deep, narrow eyes were as keen as a falcon's. He stared at the girl underneath him, but his brows were slightly furrowed, and his eyes were restrained and ashamed for a twenty-year-old.

Holden's two large hands reached into her lap and yanked her away.

what.

Elena only felt chilly on her skin, and her slim arms formed a cross in front of her heart. She shouted in terror, "I'm a female!"

“So, you're going to scream now?” Holden said, his lips twisted.

“…”

Elena proudly lifted her eyes!

Holden placed his hands on her side, engulfed her in his magnificent arms, and then simulated some severe actions.

Elena was a female after all, and her snow-white earlobes were red as if about to catch fire in such a dark room, and the large bed creaked by him, filling the room with this unwelcome sounds.

“If you don't stop shouting, I'll be furious.” He made a low threat at this point.

Elena shivered, but she had no doubts about his statements, so she closed her eyes and screamed out in unison with him.

“Great, my grandson is not, not inept, he is going to perform well!” says Mrs. Lu outside, her hands clasped in gratitude. I'd want to have a wonderful grandson today, so may my forefathers bless me!”

Mrs. Lu danced joyously for a while before heading to the ancestral hall to express her appreciation to her forefathers.

Elena instantly reached out to shove the man off her body, and Holden was extremely cooperative this time, letting from her right of way.

He flicked on the wall lamp with a snap.

Elena sat up, hastily buttoning her shirt, and concealing her shining shoulders and milky white muscles with her eyes down in the dim light.

She stared at the man with her eyes lifted.

The man had risen from his bed, his gorgeous features on display. His face lines were like natural workmanship, and his motions revealed the innate thinness, indifference, and nobleness that he had.

Elena, on the other hand, had no time to enjoy the man's attractive face; in fact, as soon as she ventured to look up, her pupils shrunk significantly.

Because of this man's appearance.

“It's you!” exclaims the narrator.

He's the train conductor!

He's her new spouse!

Elena understood she was about to marry a terminally ill guy. She had gone to great lengths to prepare, but she never imagined it would be him.

She shouted at him on the train that day, ostensibly claiming to be the bride who had been married into Green Garden. At the time, he had to be chuckling at her joke.

“Recognize me, I told you, we will meet soon,” Holden said, his thin lips stretching out in an arc of a smile.

The butler informed him that the Xia family had come to marry a hick from the countryside, and his eyes were a little mischievous.

If Grandma is pleased, I am wedded to you.

Furthermore, this jerk hasn't changed.

Is she like this in her normal state?

With his own eyes, he could witness how she allowed the disfigured guy to tumble to the train's cabin floor.
